Just a Monday

So how was your Monday? Mine was interesting.

10.00am SMOKE ALARM......No just the Geek who'd come to look at Susi's computer. Someone
forgot to tell me that there is a beep, beep that sounds like a sm ..al.. to buzz visitors
through the gate.

10.30am Visit Paul, picture framer, who works from a house in the infamous Grey Street, the
red light area of St Kilda. He is busily preparing frames for an upcoming Art
Exhibition, but will find time to frame a picture for me.

11.30am On the number 96 tram heading into the centre of Melbourne to meet a girlfriend
that I haven't seen since before Christmas.

12.35pm Realise I've been waiting in the wrong place.....race through the centre of Myers only
to be accosted by a non-English speaking Asian lady, who insists on using my mobile.
Yes the first time becomes a rather irritated noooo after she asks to use it a fifth
time .................... I am rescued by, Diana, my rather late lunch partner.

1.00pm to 2....something Brochette yum, especially with girlfriend gossip.

3.15pm On tram returning to St Kilda, receive call from Qantas.....flight delayed three hours.
8.00pm went to 11.00pm.

4.45pm Walking towards the only hardware shop in St K..... an elderly man had collapsed on
the pavement, cracking his head and receiving a nasty gash. Luckily the local
residents had rallied round, someone was calling an ambulance and another was
comforting him. It is worth noting though, that the doctor in a building above was
too busy to assist. Giving the benefit of the doubt let's hope the patient being treated
was also an emergency.

6.00pm Cup of tea.........finish packing.

7.30pm Eating pizza from downstairs at the Banff and sharing the events of the day. Plane further delayed....11.35pm http://melbournerestaurant.blogspot.com/2008/01/banff-restaurant-review.html

12.35am Take off Tullamarine Airport

4.00am Mel Time/2.00am Perth Time Arrive Perth Domestic Airport.... first out of the airport.
Talk to Bangladeshi Taxi Driver on the way home ... He loves Perth, it's a great life!!
