Knowing that this was probably my last trip this way for sometime, I stopped to take a look at a sign that had intrigued me. The Rabbit Proof fence was constructed early last century to keep rabbits out of the West. I think anyone who knows anything about rabbits could have told them it would not work........but the legacy remains.
